Ms. Selma Brenner
Selma Brenner graduated from Baruch in 1945 majoring in Statistics. While at Baruch, she was a writer for the Ticker and a member of Sigma Alpha Delta. After graduating, she had a rewarding career, beginning as a statistician on Wall Street, and then moving on to IBM as a programmer. During the 29 years at IBM she had many opportunities in programming and in management and she had a chance to travel the world on business assignments. After a brief period of retirement, she got a job teaching programming at a community college in Connecticut.
